House History: Delving Deeper
Tuesday 13th May, 1.30pm to 4.30pm
This course takes place in Eastwood House.
This half day course is ideal for those who have completed our House History for Beginners course and put their learning into practise, or for those who already have some experience in house history research but would like to learn more. This new half-day course led by experienced genealogist, Lorna Kinnaird, PGDip, FSAScot, QG, ASGRA, will take you on the next step of your journey by delving deeper into sources and developing your research skills. The course will cover:
- Timelines
- The Sasine Register
- Using Maps
- Palaeography
It is advisable that you have the basic skills and knowledge of house history research before undertaking this course.
Can be booked separately or alongside the Family History: Delving Deeper course to create a full day experience
