Swimming Lessons

Overview

Your child’s journey begins at birth with our little splashers confidence building classes and continues through Scottish Swimming Learn to Swim Levels. After this you can transition through to our Aqua Activities. We also offer various Adult Classes.

Our minimum class sizes make for an enhanced learning experience and we work to a class ratio of 1 teacher, teaching in the water, to a maximum of 6 children for our Swim Skills Foundation levels. Our advanced classes are taught to a ratio of 1 teacher up to 8 children. However much we strive to keep our ratios to these minimum numbers, there may be times that these numbers are raised to 8 and above.

Our Learn to Swim programme delivers lessons over a 49 week period. Swimming lessons do not run for three weeks of the year (two weeks over the festive period and one week for teacher training). Membership is based on a minimum of 46 lessons per annum at East Renfrewshire Culture and Leisure sites. We guarantee a minimum of 46 lessons per year. You can receive up to 49 lessons per annum. The price of 46 lessons will be averaged over 12 monthly direct debit payments.
