A POEM, A PIE AND A PINT EVENT- WE ARE SCOTTISH FOOTBALL
Join Julie McNeill, Poet-in-Residence at St Mirren FC, as she shares poems and photographs from her book, ‘We are Scottish Football’ and enjoy a pie and a pint.
Kelburn Brewery in Barrhead will be supplying local ales and Newlands Bakery in Giffnock are supplying us with delicious pies.

AUTHOR EVENT FOR BOOK WEEK SCOTLAND
Two accomplished authors will host an event at Clarkston Library as part of this year’s Book Week Scotland celebrations.
Laura Stewart and Breea Keenan will share their experiences and insight into their writing journeys, read some of their work and engage with the audience in a Q&A session.

READ RELAX REFRESH
Join us as staff select and read aloud extracts, prose and poems to bring a sense of wellbeing. Relax over tea and coffee and leave feeling refreshed. 16 years+. Contact the library to book your space.
