Storm Damage
We were sad to arrive at the library today to some damage by Storm Eowyn. Part of the tree outside the library on the main road unfortunately fell and smashed into the stone wall. This tree is apparently one of the oldest trees in East Renfrewshire and the Thornliebank Primary School emblem is based on it. The winds also damaged both of the cold stores we purchased for sowing seeds but these are replaceable.
Nature is always a humble reminder that climate change is very real and that storms and flooding will become more and more common without any action. We hope everyone managed to stay safe and avoid any serious damage.
